Entering Thai
In this section we discuss how to enter Thai.
Keyboard Input
- When first run, Sontana will use the standard keymap, i.e. when you type the usual
keymap will be used.
- Switch the input keymap between Standard and Thai by pressing the Escape key.
- The status bar at the bottom of the window shows the current mode.
- Type as usual.
- The exact layout of the Thai keymap may depend on your original keymap
and keyboard.
Mouse Input
In order to use Sontana on any computer without requiring a Thai keyboard you can use
a virtual, or "on screen", keyboard:
- From the Help menu select Virtual Keyboard.
- Click on the virtual keyboard as you would when typing.
- You can resize this window and even type using the physical keyboard.
- Click on the "F" key to change the virtual keyboard font.
